Our staff have your recovery as their goal. Their experience and qualifications enable them to offer you the right option from our range of treatments. Here, at Sólás na Mara, we can offer a range of holistic massages including swedish massage, aroma massage, indian head massage and hot stone massage or a more specific deep tissue and sports massage, as well and facials based on natural products including seaweed.

Healing is a core need. We are fortunate to have massage therapists, sports therapists and a physiotherapist whose goals are to help you find relief - be it from injury, chronic injuries, illness or simply just to get you back on track.
Recovery from Sport
We have a particular expertise in identifying sporting injuries, aiding recovery and enabling our clients to get back training, running, cycling or playing quickly. Combining a session with a hot seawater bath can be an ideal way to recover post race, post match or after a hard session.
Combine a hot seawater seaweed bath with any of these treatments to give a uniquely Irish regenerative experience, with the bonus of relaxing while you heal and recover.

Operated by established practitioner Cian Ó Conchúir, Sólás na Mara offers the chance to recover from specific injuries, strains and conditions. With over 15 years experience, Cian specialises in hands on treatment and utilises dry needling as complementary to this. He also offers personalised orthotics (insoles) where specific issues are identified.
Cian received a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Limerick in 2007 and went on to complete a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation. Furthering this, he went on to complete the internationally recognised Certified Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) course in 2008. He has spent time as team physio to the Waterford Senior Football Team and has a solid reputation in the area as an excellent health care practitioner.
